I have Windows 7 and I have a very similar problem. Today, I bought my first physical CD in a couple of years. I imported into iTunes and it doesn't appear under Music in the iTunes library. The folder is there in my computer; the files are there; even stranger, the songs show up in 'recently added' playlist and from there I can move them to other playlists as well and play the songs (then they show up in the 'recently played' playlist). I was even able to make sure they were matched on iTunes Match. However, they still are not under 'Music' in my Library. What is up?
